Global Physician Strategies — navigating the path to U.S. practice

A reference you can check.

Rules about who may practise medicine change often and are written in several places at once. Most summaries of them are uncited, undated, and wrong somewhere. This one is built so you can find out where.

How the reference is built

Read the source
Every requirement is taken from the statute, the regulation or the board’s own page — not from a summary of them, and not from another site that summarised them.
Cite the provision
Each rule carries the specific provision it came from and a link that resolves to it. A rule that cannot be cited is not encoded; the build fails rather than shipping it.
Record silence as silence
Where a source does not address something, we say so and note what we looked for. We do not infer a default, because the flattering inference and the correct one are rarely the same.
Date everything
Each state carries the date somebody last read its sources. Anything unread for more than 90 days fails our own build check, and the page tells you when it is stale rather than hiding it.
Say when we do not know
Where we have not finished verifying a rule, your result says so and links you to the source. It is never presented as something you failed to provide.

Reading them this closely also shows where they are badly drafted. What we argue to boards and legislatures comes out of the same reading.

If you find something wrong

Tell us, with the provision you read. A correction to the source of record is worth more to us than any other feedback, and it is the one kind we act on the same week.
